Halloween Nails: Day 3

3 Oct

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to do for my Halloween nails challenge. I jotted down some ideas and as soon I thought of Frankenstein. I knew I had to do it ASAP! I decided to go with Frankenstein and his bride kind of theme for Day 3 of my personal Halloween nails challenge.

Different Dimension’s Money

17 May

Money is from Different Dimension’s new Pink Floyd inspired collection called Echoes. Money is actually a song from Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon album. Money is a pale greenish white crelly filled with these amazing glitter bits. The glitter colors are neon green, neon yellow, gold, black and blue and they come in a variety of shapes and sizes like circles and squares throughout. The glitter colors compliment each other very well and goes well with this slightly tinted pale green crelly base.

Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Luck O’ The Irish

16 Mar

Happy St. Patrick Day! Even though it’s officially tomorrow, a whole lot of us are out there celebrating this holiday today. You know what this means. A lot of green attire and shamrocks. I recently received this goregeous green glitter topper polish from Cynthia over at Femme Fatale Lacquer. It’s called “Luck O’ The Irish” and I thought this was perfect for St. Patrick Day nails!

Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Luck O’ The Irish is full of various sized green glitter and gold holographic glitter in a clear base. I used one coat of Luck O’ The Irish on top of two coats of China Glaze’s Def Defying (from their Cirque Du Soleil collection) and on my ring finger is two coats of Sinful Colors’ Snow Me White with one coat of Luck O’ The Irish. Here’s my green/white nails sporting a shamrock in honor of this holiday.

Isn’t this pretty? It is just the right amount of green glitter without overwhelming it. The gold is definitely a very nice touch!
