I’m back! Frank Llyod Wright inspired mani

6 Nov

Hi lovelies,
I took a little hiatus from blogging to focus on starting off the Rica polish line for a couple of months. I’m back and I’m hoping that you guys are happy I’m back and blogging all about nails.

I had some nasty nail breaks recently so I did have to cut my nails back down to nubs. I apologize for not having long nails for today’s post.

I decided to do something simple. I saw a Frank Lloyd Wright pattern online and decided to use it as inspiration for my nails tonight.

Polishes used:
Essie Instant Hot (for white base)
Essie Mint Candy Apple
Essie The More The Merrier

What do you think?

I love seeing art on shorter nails! I often think I can’t do certain art because I don’t like my nails long, and love to be proven wrong and be inspired. Thanks!

Welcome back!! Such a pretty manicure. I’m sporting nubs at the moment, too! Love seeing designs on small canvases.

I absolutely love these colours together, it’s so cohesive but contrasting. I’m happy to see you blogging again, though I’ve loved watching your growth into an indie polish gal! Welcome back, I’m excited to see what you’ve got in store for us (:

    Hi Rica,

I’m very new to the idea of nail mail & sent out my first 2 packages, one of them to the UK on 10/22. Both parties have received them. The one I’m writing you about is my UK person. She emailed me a letter from Royal Mail yesterday saying the items in it were against regulations & has been destroyed. This is why I thought I’d touch base with you. 1) Do you know of any such restrictions for doing polish out of the UK? I had only heard about restrictions for Italy. 2) On the off chance she is using this un-dated letter to scam polish, I thought I’d give you her name & ig info…JUST in case anyone else has had her do this. I don’t think so, but I’d hate for anyone to get scammed bc I didn’t say anything, ya know?

I know she’s tagged you in her feed before, asking to be added to the safe list. Her current ig is @skoobiej. I think her previous one started sdj with 2-3 #s after it. This is her mailing address: Suzanne D Jones 156 knoulberry Washington Tyne and Wear NE37 1JN UK

I googled the address & it looks like it might be a daycare (or across from one).

I can send you a copy of the letter if you like. I’m just in my phone at the moment, so kind of limited.

My other nail buddy is @nailartproud. Again… waiting & going the package that was sent over a week ago finally arrived. :/ She at least posted a pix that included what I sent her, I think on 10/24.

Anyhow, I just thought I’d give you a heads up, since neither were on either the safe or naught nail mail list & see if you had any inside info.

THANK YOU for having the lists & Love getting your blog feed & great nail art ideas.

Oh yeah! My ig is @nailz_by_aj.

    Polish on Chica! 😉 AJ
