Lacquerlicious’ America’s Birthday

18 Jun

Oh how I love the 4th of July! It’s only 16 days away from today. Two polishes from the July 4th, 1776 collection by Lacquerlicious arrived in the mail yesterday. These two gorgeous polishes are America’s Birthday and Celebrate Red, White & Blue. I couldn’t wait to paint them on!

This post will be about America’s Birthday. America’s Birthday is a shimmery denim blue base with red, blue and silver micro glitter. There’s also few silver hologram micro bars and few silver medium hex glitter scattered throughout. In the pictures shown, this is two coats of America’s Birthday with no undies.

Isn’t America’s Birthday the most perfect polish for the 4th of July?! What a stunner! It makes my heart burst with joy. Here’s a closer look.

America’s Birthday reminds me of the way the fireworks would shimmer down after bursting in the air. I knew I had to do some fireworks stamping on top of this. I used OPI’s Alpine Snow for the stamping. There’s fireworks on my ring finger and stars on the other fingers. How do you like this look? I hope you love it as much I do!

A closer look of the stamping… And this one shows the micro bar glitter in America’s Birthday better.

Would I recommend this? YES! I give this one 5 out of 5 stars. The formula is a dream come true. I was actually surprised by the amazing glitter coverage. The micro bar glitter did not give me any issue at all which is always a plus! It applies on beautifully and dried fairly quick to a smooth finish. Two coats to full opacity.
