Gloss ‘n Sparkle’s Unicorn Droppings

9 Jun

Today I had this kiddie birthday party to go to. I wanted to try an untried that I felt was appropriate for the birthday party I’m taking my children to. Gloss ‘n Sparkle’s Unicorn Droppings was my pick. Fun rainbow colored confetti & kid birthday parties go hand in hand! If you haven’t heard of Gloss ‘n Sparkle before, they’re an Australian indie brand and they do make one of the prettiest polishes around.

Unicorn Droppings is this white creamy crelly base packed with matte rainbow colored hex glitters and micro holographic sparkle which gives it a silver shimmery look. As shown in pictures, this is three coats. Unicorn Droppings is such a fun name and I think that’s exactly what suckered me into wanting this polish in the first place. I love all things unicorn. It does look like what droppings would look like from an unicorn 🙂

Would I recommend this? Probably yes. I give this one 3.5 out of 5 stars. The formula was a bit thicker than I would have liked to work with. Due to the thickness, it was difficult to do thin coats. I don’t think I will be using Unicorn Droppings again because I do like doing thin coats with crelly polishes because it helps the glitter to show through the layers. Use of a polish thinner (only few drops) may help address this thickness issue. I did have to do some mild glitter placement. Three coats to full opacity.
