Victoria of Serum No 5 sent over Pink Peonies for review. Pink Peonies is from the SS 13 Part One: Florals collection. I have always admired Serum No 5 for its giving back to charities. Every month, Serum No 5 donates 20% of the profits from all lacquer sold to a charity of their choice. Last month, Victoria of Serum No 5 donated to Red Cross. Isn’t that wonderful?
Pink Peonies is a light strawberry milkshake kind of pink base with light pink, dark pink, white and red hexes in various sizes. It does seem to have a very subtle gold shimmer to it. It’s gorgeous! I tried two coats on its own and it seemed a bit too sheer so I decided to pair it up with an undie. I used Essie’s Limo-Scene as an undie and applied two thin coats of Pink Peonies on top. It makes me feel like I was standing in a field of pink peonies. Magical. Pure magic. I love it!
Would I recommend this? Yes! I Pink Peonies is so light, girly and romantic. I give this one 4 out of 5 stars. The formula was fantastic even though it wasn’t exactly opaque on its own with 2 coats. Pairing it up with some undies will be recommended. Glitter coverage was excellent. I didn’t have to do any fishing or placement which is always a plus in my book!
Flowers always bring out the gratitude in me. Good deeds, good karma, and good polish. Can’t beat that! I’m a huge fan of Serum No 5.
