China Glaze’s Sunsational (cremes)

5 May

Here’s the swatches for the other six from the new summer collection by China Glaze called Sunsational. These are the cremes. For swatches on jellies, please see previous posts.

That’s Shore Bright is a bright neon pastel-like purple creme. Two coats to full opacity. Formula is fantastic! The color reminds me of Essie’s Play Date (from the Go Overboard collection) but That’s Shore Bright is few shades darker than Essie’s Play Date. I can foresee myself using That’s Shore Bright often this summer.

Sun Of A Peach is a bright peachy-orange neon creme. This color is really bright! Formula does needs improving. By the second coat there were some “bald spots” due to streaking while applying Sun of A Peach on. It became fully opaque by the third coat.

Too Yacht To Handle is a very bright turquoise creme. Two coats to full opacity. Formula was good. The color’s to die for.

Neon & On & On is a pink neon creme with some coral undertones. By the second coat there were some tiny bald spots. The third coat smoothed the unevenness out. Three coats to full opacity. Formula could be improved.

Highlight Of My Summer is a bright neon-like mint-honeydew green creme. By the second coat there were some tiny bald spots. The third coat smoothed the unevenness out. Three coats to full opacity. Formula could be improved.

Bottoms Up is a bright flamingo pink neon creme. Two coats to full opacity. Formula is good. Bottoms Up is the most neon color in the cremes bunch from the Sunsational collection.

Would I recommend the cremes from China Glaze’s Sunsational collection. Yes, I definitely would. I actually really liked these neon cremes and I did not mind that some colors needed three coats instead of the norm two for full opacity.
