Adorn Nails’ Violet Moon & Tequila Mockingbird

2 May

Kelly from A•dorn Nails sent these two polishes, Violet Moon & Tequila Mockingbird for review. When I first got the package in the mail, I was impressed by the adorable packaging that held the polishes inside. A•dorn Nails pride themselves on using upcycled, recycled, or recyclable materials whenever possible. I love that! What makes these polishes from A•dorn Nails extra special is the fact that their polishes are vegan, cruelty free, and 4Free (does not contain toulene, DBP, formaldehyde or formaldehyde resin).

Here’s a closer look of the two polishes I received. Tequila Mockingbird is on the left and Violet Moon is on the right.

Aren’t they pretty?

Violet Moon is a dusty lilac creme leaning towards the grey more than the lilac. It was mostly opaque by the first coat. However, I did two coats of Violet Moon. I would say this one is two coats to full opacity. The formula is amazing. I cannot get over how great it was! It applied on like a dream. Violet Moon also stamps well (more on that near the end of this review).

Tequila Mockingbird is a dark fuchsia-purple shimmery duochrome. It is a very beautiful deep rich color. I’m crazy about it! Two coats to full opacity. The formula is spectacular. It also stamps well (again, more on that near the end of this review).

As some of you may already know, I adorn nail stamping. It is one of the ways to dress up your nails a bit more. I was ecstatic when I saw that these two polishes stamped well! Here’s the look I came up with these two adorable polishes from A•dorn Nails. Hope you like it!

Would I recommend these polishes from A•dorn Nails? Yes I would! I give both polishes 5 out of 5 stars. The formula on both was much better than I expected! I didn’t have any issues whatsoever with Violet Moon and Tequila Mockingbird.

I’m just a bit surprised that A•dorn Nails aren’t as well known like some indies and brands out there. They should be though! Currently, there are ten colors available on A•dorn Nails’ website at http://www.adornnails.com They are also on Instagram – be sure to follow them @adornnails. I definitely will be buying from A•dorn Nails in the soon future. I’m actually eyeing the Landlocked Mermaid & All Hands On Deck.
