XOXO Nails’ Spring Into Pastels collection

2 Apr

Hi dolls! Elektra of XOXO Nails recently sent four minis from her new Spring Into Pastels collection for review. These colors from left to right are: Blue Sue, Daisy Maisy, Plum Mum, and Pinki Nicki.

Blue Sue is a minty blue base with purple and white glitter in various sized hex and square glitter. It is such a lovely pastel blue color and goes very well with my skin tone! Formula was good. Glitter coverage was great. No fishing for glitter which is always a great thing in my book! No undies were used with Blue Sue. Two coats to full opacity.

Here’s a close up showing the glitter better. The purple/white glitter mix goes so well with this pastel blue base. I love it!

Daisy Maisy is a creamy pastel yellow base with orange-yellow medium hex glitter and tiny pink microglitter. It’s soft and I like how the glitter doesn’t overwhelm the general pastel soft look with this one. Formula was good. No undies were used. Three thin coats to full opacity. Like so many indie polishes out there, doing thin coats is the key to achieving this perfect look.

Plum Mum is a lilac base with blue medium hex glitter, light baby blue small and medium square glitter, and chartreuse large hex glitter bits. I found the color combination to be very lovely. Formula was great. No undies were used with this one. Three thin coats to full opacity.

Here’s a close up.

Pinki Nicki is a pastel pink base with light pink, medium pink and blue in various sized square and hex shaped glitter. Formula was great. Three thin coats to full opacity. Pinki Nicki is my favorite from this collection!

Here’s a close up.

Like many indie crelly polishes out there, it is always for the best to do thin coats to achieve the most perfect look. Don’t give into the temptation of painting it on thick!

Would I recommend this collection? Yes I would. I give this 4 out of 5 stars. Spring Into Pastels is full of adorable just right for the springtime polishes. If I had to choose favorites from this collection. I would have to go with Blue Sue and Pinki Nicki. I absolutely adored Pinki Nicki the most. It looked like a fun confetti mix with the bright pink base! Blue Sue is also another polish with beautiful mix of colors.
