Laura from Polish Addict recently sent me a mini bottle of Karma for review on this blog. When I saw Karma, I instantly fell in love with the base color. Most of you know that purple is my favorite color. Karma’s tinted base is somewhere between mauve and lavender. I couldn’t wait to try it on my nails!
Isn’t this pretty? Karma is full of colorful glitter. You name it. It has white, pink, blue, yellow, green, black and many more in all shapes and sizes! There’s microglitter, hexes, squares, bars, etc. It’s as if the glitter fairy sneezed and Laura bottled up this magical concoction to make this lovely Karma polish.
As shown in pictures, this is two coats of Karma with NO undies underneath. Like many glitter indies, I cannot stress how important it is to do thin even coats instead of thick ones. If you want some of the glitter to show, your best bet is to do thin coats. Doing so will ensure that the glitter doesn’t get drowned out in the tinted base. Here are some beautiful closeups.
Would I recommend this? Yes. The formula’s great even though I had to do some glitter fishing and very minimal glitter placement. Maybe the glitter issue was because it came in a mini sized bottle? I turned the bottle upside down for few minutes to unsettle the glitter a bit to help get more glitter out. I give this 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Karma is going to be released this Friday, March 22nd. You can get this and many of Polish Addict’s beauties at http://www.shoppolishaddict.bigcartel.com/
