Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Sweet Bouquet of Pastels

10 Feb

There’s at least 12 inches of snow on the ground outside right now. Spring cannot come soon enough! In the meantime, let me show you this oh-so-lovely just perfect for spring polish that I have recently received for review. This is Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Sweet Bouquet of Pastels.

sbp1I have decided to pair Sweet Bouquet of Pastels up with four different pastel-like colors by Orly to show you what they look like on top of different colors.

I used the following Orly polishes:

  • Green Apple (from Hot Stuff collection, Summer 2010)
  • Lemonade (from Sweet collection, Spring 2010)
  • Lollipop (from Sweet collection, Spring 2010)
  • Snowcone (from Sweet collection, Spring 2010)

Can you see why I fell in love with Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Sweet Bouquet of Pastels? Application was very dreamy. I used only one coat of Sweet Bouquet of Pastels on top of these Orly colors. Sweet Bouquet of Pastels is in a tinted lilac sheer base packed with these yummy iridescent pastel colored glitters in all sizes. There’s hex shaped ones, there’s squares and round glitter in iridescent pastel colors like pink, sky blue, yellow, lavender and more. Let me show you a close up.

sbp3Right there, I feel like I’m swimming in a sea of a sweet meadow of these pastel iridescent glitters. I bet you cannot resist these lustrous rainbow-like colors. Want to see more pictures? Good, because I have more pictures to show you!

sbp6(Snow? What snow? There’s spring on my nails!)

sbp7I knew I had to do a pastel skittle mani to show you how amazing this polish is! This Sweet Bouquet of Pastels is very versatile and can go with ANY color! Can you imagine the possibilities? Why don’t you try it on white? Or maybe try a mattified version of this?

sbp8Here’s one more picture!

sbp9Let’s get down to business. Would I recommend this? YES!! YES!! YES!! This polish is a must-have for upcoming spring. Not only the application was dreamy but it was perfect. I didn’t have to fish around for polish or do glitter placement. I only used one coat of Sweet Bouquet of Pastels on my nails. It brushed on my nails beautifully. I don’t think I have seen any indie as versatile as this one. I give this 5 out of 5 stars! Cynthia deserves the recognization for her amazing handcrafted creations especially this one. Sweet Bouquet of Pastels goes on sale at her shop this Friday February 15th.
