Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Mermaids in the Midst

10 Feb

This is the other polish that was sent to me by Femme Fatale Lacquer for review recently. Mermaids in the Midst is a plum jelly with holographic glitter. Teal hexes and little round gold glitter ones are the ones that stand out the most. This is from the Spring 2013 collection.

I decided to paint my nails with a color that’s close to this plum jelly base. I chose OPI’s Pepe’s Purple Passion which is from the Muppets collection (Holiday 2011). I have two coats of Pepe’s Purple Passion on with only one coat of Femme Fatale Lacquer’s Mermaids in the Midst.

mermaidsinthemidst2My experience with Femme Fatale Lacquer has been a very positive one so far. I have not been disappointed with the quality of their polishes. Here’s another picture!

mermaidsinthemidst3Color me impressed! I still cannot get over how pretty this one is! This looks like something Ariel from the Little Mermaid would wear to her prom. Would I recommend this? Yes! Application was a breeze. There’s no glitter fishing or glitter placement. This is one coat of glitter and it all evenly dispersed on the nail. There were no clumping either which is amazing considering the fact that Mermaids in the Midst is glitter-packed! I give this 4 out of 5 stars!
