So pumped to have this amazing luxurious polish in my collection! I present you with Azature’s Black Diamond polish!
I know some of you have already heard about and/or have seen pictures of Kelly Osbourne and her very expensive ($250,000) manicure that she wore to the Emmys in Fall 2012. Kelly’s nails had the nail polish made by Los Angeles-based luxury jeweler, Azature, and the polish itself was made with 267-carat black diamonds!
Recently, Azature released a lower-priced nail polish version ($25.00) of this Black Diamond polish at Ron Robinson. One of my dear friends, Louise from the UK, ordered me this bottle and I am beyond excited to be able to not only review but to have this product in my collection!
Here’s the bottle shot.
I really love how the bottle itself is made to look like a cut diamond in a way. The polish itself is a dark grey jelly with silver and black glitters throughout. The application itself was a breeze. It came on so smoothly and I did not have any issues whatsoever. It dries with a very glossy finish. I did add the Seche Vite topcoat on it only because I feel weird not having a topcoat. In my humble opinion, this polish looks better with some black “undies” instead of on its own because of its jelly/tinted sheer look. For the manicure, I used Orly’s Liquid Vinyl for the black base and placed one coat of Azature’s Black Diamond on top of each nail. On my ring finger, I used Essie’s No Place Like Chrome for the diamond print. Ihope you like my nails! Would I recommend it? Yes I would – only if you plan on using it with some undies underneath. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. You can buy Azature’s Black Diamond at http://www.ronrobinson.com/
