Here I have the Orion Nebula which is another beautiful polish by Different Dimension. Right off the bat, I want to quote what Missi wrote on her etsy shop: “This is not a polish for the faint of heart as it does need work to get some of the bigger holographic fuchsia glitters out.” I like it that she was honest about her product. Orion Nebula is this black jelly with different sized fuchsia circular glitters. The largest circular ones seem to be holographic in nature because it reflects off the light. The black jelly needs to be applied in thin coats. One needs to have patience in allowing these layers of glitter to build up to the point where you can achieve this.
Isn’t this beautiful? Orion Nebula makes my heart sing. Let us discuss what a Nebula is. Nebula is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other gases. Now, Orion Nebula is one of the most prominent and recognizable constellations in the sky and can be seen throughout the world. Have you seen what it looks like? If not, take a moment and google some images up. They’re breathtaking.
Different Dimension’s Orion Nebula took my breath away. It was all these fuchsia circular glitter floating around in its black jelly base. This reminds me so much of phosphenes. Phosphenes are the stars and colors you see when you rub your eyes. What the space mysteries may hold, I will just lose myself in this Orion Nebula.
This is four thin coats on its own with no undies underneath. I have a feeling it would be easier with black undies. If you do decide to get this, please AVOID all temptation in painting it on thick. Thin coats are the way to go with these type of polishes.
Would I recommend this? Yes, however, I do recommend this polish to people who have patience to work with this type of polish. It is not for the faint-hearted. Orion Nebula does require several thin even coats. I would say the minimum would be three coats. I give this one 4 out of 5 stars despite the difficulty of application. I did have to do mild glitter fishing and glitter placement only for the large circular glitter. I found the work was well worth the payoff.
